The World Health Organization reports that 17.9 million people die each year of cardiovascular diseases and this is set to rise to 26 million by 2030.

We know that the majority of cardiovascular illness is due to dietary and lifestyle factors, many of which are modifiable and associated with obesity, stress and sedentary lifestyles.

Our Wellbeing Guide – ‘A Better You’  provides you with some useful information as well as tips on the do’s and the don’ts regarding nutrition.

The Jump Start Programme

The Jump Start programme in February 2021 was developed to help young people aged 14 - 30 to connect with local community enterprises. Impact 4 Life are happy to have participated in the programme.

During the 2020 Covid-19 restrictions, Community Catalysts and Birmingham Community Enterprise project delivered a programme to help young people connect with local community enterprises. Preparation for Adulthood (PFA) jump start programme together with Community Catalysts  has provided support to local community enterprises to help them to adapt to the constraints of Covid-19 restrictions.
